Towards 5G Embedded Trust: Integrating Attestation Extensions in Vertical Industries

ASTRID participated in the EUCNC Summit, that was held virtually between June 8th-11th, 2021, in the scheduled workshop on the vision of 6G titled "From 5G to 6G Automated and Intelligent Security"

 We presented one of ASTRID core technologies related to trusted computing and remote attestation and how this can enable the vision of 5G ecosystems with embedded trust. This novel notion of trust assurance and software security services allow us to embed ubiquitous trust models into the network so that users can trust the communication over the network. The trust model should ubiquitously collect evidence of misbehaviour and provide indirect reciprocity and non-repudiation of actions. The aim of this process is to enable the support of extended trust-aware service graph chains, for highly virtualized and software environments, with verifiable evidence on their correctness and functional safety.
